People have got to stop letting those TV attorney’s convince them to file these ridiculous claims.
A man who happens to be a former Def Jam A&R and co-president of Russell Simmons Music got shot after thinking it was a good idea to sit in a (probably expensive) SUV outside of the Atlanta “Justin’s” location to listen to music back in November. Now he’s suing Diddy and ’em over the random thuggery that ensued.
Leroy “Tony” Austin said he was an invited guest to Justin’s Restaurant and Bar in November 2010 when he and another man were shot outside the parking lot.
He said in the lawsuit filed in the U.S. District Court of Northern Georgia on Friday that the restaurant’s operators knew there was “dangerous and hazardous conditions” around the facility but failed to warn Austin.
The lawsuit also claimed the restaurant in Atlanta’s ritzy Buckhead district failed to provide adequate security protection on the property.
Really? In the parking lot that sits right off of a major thoroughfare? GTFOH! Sounds like the checks have stopped coming in.
In addition to running BDR’s “Russell Simmons Music,” which we’re almost certain no longer has any artists on its roster, Tony Austin is also an artist, who dropped his own Gangsta Grillz just before he got shot.
Check out photos from some of his past video shoots below.
Still intrigued by who Tony Austin is? There’s a video for that on the flip. And it’s pure comedy.
