Nah Mike! Anybody but this f’n guy!
Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick tweeted Sunday that he would be “honored” to have Brett Favre serve as his backup, as rumors once again emerged that the future Hall of Famer might make another return from retirement.
According to a report from Philadelphia radio station 610 WIP, the Eagles are interested in signing the 41-year-old Favre after Kevin Kolb is traded.
FOX Sports’ Jay Glazer, however, tweeted, “Let’s end the uproar now, 2 Eagles sources tell me an emphatic No to Favre coming there to back up Michael Vick. Not the option they are on.”
Favre was yet to comment, but Vick made his thoughts on the situation clear.
“I would be honored to have Brett Farve as a backup. That will be amazing Learning how to toy with defenses the way he did his whole career,” Vick tweeted, before later deleting the post.
We get what you’re tryning to say Mike. Favre is a hall of fame player and you could probably learn a thing or two from him. But you, nor the team, need the media circus that comes with the NFLs biggest diva. It’s just not worth it…
