Apparently Vogue EIC Anna Wintour is quite the YMCMB devotee… The fashion maven is reportedly the reason behind Nicki Minaj’s multi-colored appearances at this years Fashion Week.
Nicki Minaj and Anna Wintour’s Fashion Week team-up was no accident. The Day-Glo pop diva and Vogue’s editor caused many a double take when they sat side by side in the front rows of Carolina Herrera and Oscar de la Renta’s fashion shows, and Minaj told Z100’s Elvis Duran that it was all Wintour’s doing. The singer, who performed last weekend at the iHeart Radio Music Festival in Las Vegas, explained that Wintour personally invited her to the Herrera show and later sent Minaj an inscribed photo of the two watching the fashion promenade. “We match!” wrote Wintour, apparently referring to the fact they’d both worn patterned attire.
Really Anna Wintour? Cuz we didn’t think that monstrosity matched ANYTHING!
