Does this woman know it’s a recession and our unemployment rate is at an all time high?

A woman is accused of calling the port authority police and threatening to blow up planes because she was upset her husband worked nights, according to a report from the Lee County Port Authority Police.

According to the report, Soraya Evette Billinge called the port authority police from her cell phone and stated she did not want her husband working late at night because she did not like being home alone.

While speaking with the dispatcher, Billinge became upset the police wouldn’t assist her with her husband’s schedule, she said, “Okay I blow up, I blow up ten planes,” then hung up, reports said.

When she spoke with a sergeant, Billinge denied making the bomb threat, reports said.

“It’s shocking to me to hear that,” said neighbor Boswell Grant. “I didn’t know what to think.”

Billinge’s husband took her to the Port Authority Police offices and she said she did call the police, but that she was only advising them of the 2006 incident in the United Kingdom in reference to bombs, reports said.

She is currently in custody, facing several charges, including making a bomb threat, which is a felony.

In other words, omebody’s getting deported. And the kicker is, the Port Authority Police has NOTHING to do with her husband’s actual job.
