Bossip Exclusive: Michael Ealy Speaks On Wanting To Be A Vampire In ‘Underworld: The Awakening’ And How Steve Harvey Broke Guy Code By Writing ‘Think Like A Man’

- By Bossip Staff

Bossip: Did you get a lot of hate from your role in For Colored Girls?

ME: I didn’t get a lot of hate, i actually got a lot of love which was refreshing actually. I was definitely concerned but people saw that I really worked hard to make it accurate. There are people really going through Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and they felt that. That was important to me.

Bossip: You’ve worked with some great directors including Spike Lee, as well as some amazing actresses, like Kimberly Elise, just to name a few. What’s next for you?

As future and who I’d like to work with, I’d like to obviously work with more actors and more directors. At the end of the day I’d like to see my body of work as diverse and prolific as I am really trying to make it be at this moment. I’m really trying to diversify my career as much as possible, the comedy, the action, the drama. I don’t see too many limitations as to what I can do as an actor. I just work hard at it and keep going.

Bossip: We have a hard time getting dirt on you, nobody has really heard anything about your private life since you dated Halle Berry. How do you keep it under wraps?

ME: I don’t think people care. I never felt like people care. I don’t want to live my life in the limelight so I like to keep things as private as possible.

Underworld:Awakening hits a box office near you on January 20th, 2012. Get ready for some 3D action!
