Tamera Mowry Speaks On Marriage With New Husband Adam Housley

Awwww, sounds like Tamera Mowry is enjoying married life!

It’s been eight months since she walked down the aisle, but Tamera Mowry says she feels like a newlywed now more than ever. “In the beginning, you have this adjustment phase,” the Tia & Tamera star told PEOPLE at NBC Universal’s Golden Globes after party Sunday night. “Now we’ve kind of got used to our own little rhythm.” So what’s been the biggest change for Mowry, 33, who tied the knot with Fox news correspondent Adam Housley, 40, in May?

“Giving up my space!” she says, laughing. “I’m so used to having my bathroom all to myself and my poor husband’s like, ‘I need to get in. I need to get in.’ He needs his own space, too, so we had to learn that.” While they’re still adjusting to being married, one thing that hasn’t changed is how much time the couple devote to each other even with their busy lives.

“We text each other little love notes and we always have date night,” the former Sister, Sister star shared. “Adam always brings something home from wherever because he travels the world.” Continues Mowry: “Sometimes we travel the world where it’s just us. We enjoy each other, we love history, we love art, we love culture, so that’s how we do it!”
