Trayvon Martin Mom Sybrina Fulton On Zimmerman Shooting: ‘I Believe It Was An Accident’

Appearing on NBC’s Today Show this morning, Trayvon Martin’s mom said she believes the shooting which claimed her son’s life was an accident.

“I believe it was an accident. I believe it just got out of control and he couldn’t turn the clock back,” Sybrina Fulton said.

Fulton also said she would like an apology from George Zimmerman, the man who fatally shot her 17-year-old son.

“I would ask him, did he know that that was a minor, that that was a teenager and that he did not have a weapon.”

Zimmerman is expected to make his first court appearance in Seminole County Thursday afternoon before Judge Mark E. Herr. The 28-year-old is expected to enter a plea of not guilty to the second degree murder charge filed against him.

Zimmerman was booked into the county jail Wednesday evening.

We have no idea what type of emotion and grief she must be going through but like her, we all just want justice in the name of Trayvon Martin!
