Victim of Home Invasion Tells 911 That His Drugs Were Stolen

What a fawking idiot!

Prince George’s County Police are on the lookout for at least two suspects who they believe are behind a residential robbery in Adelphi. But in an unusual twist, one of the victims said that a suspect stole his marijuana. The robbery happened just before 1 p.m. In the 8300 block of Curry Place in Adelphi, not far from the University of Maryland campus in College Park.

A Prince George’s County Police spokesperson says that two of the five students who live at the home were home at the time that three armed, masked men burst in and demanded money. The door was unlocked at the time of the home invasion.

“The 911 caller, the victim actually stated he was robbed, among other things, of marijuana. His marijuana was taken during this robbery,” says Sergeant Sonya Rorls, a Prince George’s County Police spokesperson.

Police say that a person who called authorities after the robbery said that marijuana had been stolen during the robbery, leading authorities to investigate the crime as a drug-related incident.

In an excerpt of the call, obtained by ABC7 News, the caller says “I woke up to someone walking into my room, and asking me where my drugs and money were. He took my weed.”

Investigators won’t say how much marijuana was taken. Police are now looking into whether the home was used as a location to sell marijuana or other drugs.

Idiots.
