Usher’s Godfather Says He’s Standing Strong

Usher’s Godfather says the R&B singer is staying strong after the terribly sad passing of his young stepson.

Usher is “standing strong” following the death of his 11-year-old stepson.

Kile Glover – the child of Usher’s ex-wife Tameka Raymond and her former partner Ryan Glover – passed away on Saturday after the family made the heartbreaking decision to turn off his life support machine two weeks after he was critically injured in a jet ski accident.

Although Usher is devastated by the loss, his godfather Ben Vereen said he is holding up as best he can.

He told the Huffington Post:
“I’m proud of (him) because he’s standing strong. It’s a terrible thing when a parent has to bury their child. No parent should ever have to bury his or her child. So please continue your prayers for him and (his) family for strength and healing.”

We continue to keep these families in our thoughts during this devastating time.
