Kanye West is planning on making some more serious moves in the fashion world:
“I wanna make music and I like to perform. I like that, but I really like to design,” Kanye [said] “I’m going to go and take an internship with something and just do something that’s like completely normal, and just rap on the weekends or something.”
A spokesperson for the rapper could not be reached for comment at press time, but Belgian designer Simons told The New York Times this week that he was “blown away from the planet” when he heard West’s comments.
“I know he’s very serious about this — I don’t take it as a joke — but how can I imagine him being my intern? It’s a very extreme situation,” Simons [said].
You never know what’s coming next with this guy, but one thing’s fo’ sho’: We’re really starting to question buddy boy’s mental state now.
