Yaya DaCosta, runner up in Cycle 3 of America’s Next Top Model was photographed at the San Sebastian Film Festival in Spain yesterday. Her new film Honeydripper, starring Danny Glover and Charles S. Dutton is one of those 1950’s juke joint flicks.

Although I think I’ve seen enough 1950’s juke joint movies, it’s great to see an ANTM alum using her “fame” for something other than showing up at parties and posing in smutty magazines. Good for her.

i loved her on antm, she was very classy and didnt run off crying like a little punk because she didnt win. some of these other chics all they did was cry, like they never had anyone say no to them. man up somebody has to win and somebody has to lose. spoiled ass chics.

  • moxpoe1

she was/is the only contestant that ever had any real modeling and acting talent, so I’m not surprised. Plus she had real smarts.

Good for her and hope to see her in a lot more stuff.

@creole princess she was in the noxezema commerical. Ironic because she was the one complaining about he skin. She looks good I agree she does seem to be trying to land soemthignother than pin up modeling jobs. eva trys but not hard enough. I would like to see her do more as well.

Ya Ya was very regal in her mannerisms & her speech- of all the ANTM girls she & Bree where my faves!

Where is Bree these day’s & what’s up w/ Eva & Daneille’s careers? I think I saw Danny in an Essence catalog & I hope that was not her.

yaya ya wasn’t in a noxema commercial, it was for neutrogena. i was thinking it was good too b/c they did talk about how she needed to work on her skin on ANTM. She also is in Garnier Neutrisse commercial. She was in a movie with Antonio Banderas about kids dancing. She’s also on another commercial, but I can’t remember what it is for. She’s doin’ her thing! Go YAYA!

YaYa is really cute and intelligent, I’m glad to see that she is doing more than just modeling jobs, unlike some of the other models in male magazines!

Still can’t stand this arrogant, pizza-faced girl!

  • http://whoseamerica.blogspot.com daria

I hate this girl’s attitude. At the end of the day, Eva’s stank attitude is better than hers. Glad they’re both working because other ANTM people aren’t

  • AND...

I’m so glad. I liked yaya. Her attitude could use some adjusting though. Hell so could mine. Oh well.
