A medical examiner has declared Chris Lighty’s death a suicide, but those closest to him say there’s something suspect going on.
In an interview with Fox 5’s Lisa Evers Chris Lighty’s brother Dave Lighty says he’s surprised and shocked over his brother’s death because Chris was not the type of person to commit suicide. He talks about how strong a person his brother was and how they came from a strong family and says he’s not the only one who has doubts. He adds that he can’t get “clear answers from people I think I should be getting clear answers from.”
We can’t help but wonder if he’s talking about his sister-in-law Veronica.

Lighty also took to his Twitter on Monday to retweet a message from a producer who agrees the investigation needs to continue:
We actually have to agree with Dave on this topic. Money problems or not, Chris Lighty knew how to make money — even millions of dollars would not have been an unrealistic number for him to come up with. It doesn’t add up that he’d commit suicide over finances.
Sorry but anytime a black man is found dead under mysterious circumstances we gotta question it being deemed suicide. Too many black men have been murdered that way. Just sayin’. Wouldn’t he have at least left a note for his kids? His family?
