81-Year-Old Man Fondles Girl "Sexually" As She Walked Home From School

Wait, this old fart stuck his tongue in her mouth and touched her breasts with these tubes in his nose???

An 81-year-old is accused of assaulting a girl as she walked home from school, according to Spartanburg County deputies. James Holmes is charged with one count of assault and battery. Deputies said on Sept. 12, a report was filed about an assault of a sexual nature on an 11-year-old.

The child’s grandmother said the child was walking home from school when Holmes grabbed the child, hugged her, put his tongue in her mouth and touched her breast at a home on Christopher Street.

Holmes told News 4’s Gabrielle Komorowski, “I just hugged her the wrong way. I apologize. I’m sorry it ever happened. I knew better. It’s not anything that I’m proud of.” The girl’s grandmother, who is not being identifying in order to protect the girl, told News 4 that she and her granddaughter had seen Holmes sitting on his front porch before, but they don’t know him.

“The man has got to be sick in the head to do something like this to a child. And I hope they do evaluate him, get him some help and I hope he has to pay. He scared my granddaughter to death,” the grandmother said. She said she is sharing the story to protect other children.

“They may not be as lucky as my granddaughter and get away from him,” she said. Holmes was booked at the Spartanburg County Detention Center and then released on a $20,000 bond.

Wow. “Hugged her the wrong way???” That just sounds like someone a sicko would say…and ironically enough he has the same name as that shady Aurora shooter.
