Parents Sue Hospital For Accidentally Declaring Their Son Dead
A Chicago couple is heading to court with the hospital who declared their son dead and refused to listen to relatives who insisted that the boy was still moving until 5 hours later.

The parents of an 8-year-old boy have sued a Chicago hospital, alleging doctors pronounced their son dead though he was still alive.
The lawsuit, filed this week, accuses Mercy Hospital and Medical Center of negligence.
It says doctors refused to listen to relatives of Jaylen Dorsey when they insisted the Chicago boy’s eyes and body were still moving.
The suit says nearly five hours passed before staff agreed to perform a cardiac ultrasound that showed Jaylen’s heart was beating.
