NY And NJ Residents Wait In Lines For Hours At A Time To Receive Gas And Transportation

NY and NJ residents are continuing to feel the aftermath of the vicious Hurricane Sandy that slammed into the East Coast earlier this week, and our BOSSIP NY sources tell us that it seems to be almost as bad as the storm itself.

In addition to millions of tri-state area residents still being without power, heat and running low to running out of food, the residents that are trying to get back to normalcy are having the hardest time even doing that.

Thousands of residents stood in line on Thursday waiting to catch the only means of transportation from Brooklyn to Manhanttan for hours at a time, while others lined the highway for miles in their cars waiting in line to recieve gas.

Many people said they were already on empty when they entered the line, with one man even recounting how he waited 6 hours over night, only to get up to the front of the line and be told that there was no more gas.

It seems that Governor Cuomo, Mayor Bloomberg and Governor Christie are working with state and federal government officials in these states to do all that they can, but the residents in NY and NJ are slow to feel the relief.

We will continue to keep those affected by Hurricane Sandy in our thoughts and prayers.
