    Get em’ Joe.

    hes gettin weaker and weaker wit every album, jay needs to fall back and retire.

  • Doc-2-B

    @big kyle…LMAO

    Not crazy about the song…he definitely gets weaker with each album as someone said earlier. He should have stopped after the black album and put Hollywood from Kingdom Come on the first (not deluxe) release of B’Day. Oh well…he’s still making that $ and though he’s falling off, he’s falling off much slower than LL did (LL fell off a cliff)

  • illllll

    this song is garbage. i really had respect for jay but its deffinately slowly going away.

  • don c

    I hate this song! I saw the video 4 times just to see if I was missing something, but I came to the same conclusion. The song is weak. His time is up. This is coming from a Hova fan. I didn’t like his last cd and I dreading this one.

    HAVE TO SAY JAY WE LIKE THE SONG ITS A THROW BACK TO THE 80’S AND SOME LITTLE OF THE 90’S AND SOUND GOOD AND LIKE THE BEAT REALLY BUT DONT LIKE VIDEO NOT TOO GOOD BUT HEY NOT EVER FIRST VIDEO IS GOOD AND NEXT TIME GO 4 IT

  • Londie

    I didn’t make it through the video, I stoped after one minute. I don’t like this song or video. But you know this is a serious question to all true rap fans, who know about lyrics and all that stuff. What is the fascination with Jay what makes him or made him the best MC? Seriously what was it about him.

  • holdmydrankbiotch

    Jay is bring dis shyt back to the 80’s like he said in his rhyme. Those of us who were there to experience it all first hand, know this and can appreciate it for what it is worht, a homage. Those new to hip hop….well, we’ll wait for ya’ll to catch up.

    I actually like this song, maybe becuz I am a die hard Jigga fan, but whatever. This song was tight, I love the beat, not really feeling the hook….I cant wait for Jiggas album to drop!

  • And you Know!

    Loved it!…Loved the song…and video. Glad Jay’s back since I was tired of the majority of artist that only make snap your fingers tracks and cheap cell phone filmed music videos. Take it to ’em Jay!!

  • DDub

    This song isn’t what it should be but have faith, some of his other stuff has leaked and sounds waay better than this [crap]. Lyrically he’s takin’ it back to vol. 1 (not RD)so it has a nice feel. One song I heard produced by Diddy and his Hitmen will sure to please old Jay fans. Just wait. Be patient.

    The song is HOT!

    Jay-Z sucks!

    BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! *throws rock at computer screen* Since your getting it Joe Camel, get lost while your at it!

    @Haters

    Do you all actually understand the song and the video? The money in the video is the euro and how about the images of Reagan and Oliver North. People need to watch the video with a open mind it really deep and i think Hype is overrated.

  • Jus Another Opinion

    Is it me or did he sound like LL. I’m not feeling the song. Pharrell is wack as usual. I don’t know if that was J’s crib but it was tight. With that said J step down at Def Jam play yo role retire and leaver the game to the new generation.

  • Jus Another Opinion

    No this is the comment of the day…….

    love jay as an artist but this whole i’m a hustler thing is so over..he’s had the kingpins of his neighborhoods come out and speak against it…when nas ether’d him he should’ve just manned up and let it ride but nah he tried to come back harder with more fairy tales..the same guys that brought jay into the industry on day one have been saying it..he moved nickels but jay never saw a key officially on his own..its the 50cent syndrome..how you go from selling dimes of trees on the streets to claiming you sold weight on tracks…eventually the truth surfaces..I gotta give it to jay he rode the gimmick for a long time…and he’s got a penchant for hiring the best ppl to do damage control. I hope this album offers more than just gangster fairy tales because i’d like to hear him at least narrate the other side (the pain) in the heart of some of these hustlers and the conflicting feelings…now that would be innovative..since we’ve heard the aggressive cold side of hustlers thousands of times on thousands of tracks.

    The song and video is perfectly within context of the movie. It sounds good to me. The problem is JAy Z assumed that because he matured, so dod BLack folk. So he writes mature music with concepts and simple-minded folks call it Whack.
