TV One Announces Cast Of “R&B Divas L.A.”

Because there aren’t enough reality shows floating around on the small screen just yet, TV One has confirmed the line up for the Los Angeles spin-off of their latest 90’s music-inspired reality show “R&B Divas.”

While the original R&B Divas cast is taking a break from filming in Atlanta and constantly facing rumors of cast replacements every other week, R&B Divas L.A. is ready to pick up the slack.

TV One had this to say about the newcomers:

“Over eight episodes, viewers and fans will follow these multitalented ladies as they seek to individually and collectively re-establish themselves in the pop culture limelight with new deals, new drama and new directions for their careers and their lives. Success is the only option for these six friends – but is there room at the top for them all? ”

Take a look at the all new cast of powerhouse R&B songstresses from back in the day, who are set to start filming next week, on the flip…

Kelly Price
Kelly Price
Kelly Price seemed to have faded into the shadows following her extreme weight loss and stifled career. She saw much success from the late 90s into the mid 2000’s and continues to stun audiences with her unmatched vocal talent while holding down her home front as a wife and mother of 3 children.  She was also the last person to perform with the late Whitney Houston two nights before she died.

Claudette
Claudette Ortiz
Claudette rose to her quick 15 minutes of fame in the early 2000’s as the only member anyone remembers female banger from former R&B group City High. She dated both of her group members with one of the relationships resulting in a marriage and is now working on her own music while raising her children. She got put on blast a few years back when her former boyfriend and City High group member Robbie appeared on an episode of Intervention and blamed his breakup with her for his alcohol addiction.

LilMo
Lil Mo
Lil Mo has been living the married life with her producer hubby/baby daddy and working as a radio host after a quick music career that spawned a rack of memorable features and collabos.

ChanteMoore
Chante Moore
Everybody remembers Chantee Moore as the bangin’ bawwwdied diva with the voice to match from back in the 90’s and early 2000s who now only seems to make rare appearances to honor R&B legends. She’s a preacher’s daughter  as well as the ex-wife and babymama of  “A Different World” actor Kadeem Hardison (who inspired her hit ‘Chante’s Got A Man’) and was also married to R&B crooner Kenny Lattimore.

DawnRob
Dawn Robinson
Dawn Robinson is one-fourth of the memorable 90’s R&B girl group En Vogue. There’s been rumors of beef between a few of the group members, so there’s no doubt Dawn will be talking that talk about what really happened on the show.

Michel le
Michel’le
Michel’le was known in the late 80’s to mid 90’s for her sultry voice and slow jam songs. She was signed to Eazy E’s record label and later involved in two high-profile relationships.  The first was with west coast producer Dr. Dre, with whom she had a son, and the other was a marriage to Death Row Records goon Suge Knight with whom she has a daughter.

Claudette Ortiz get’s the side eye from me, the only had like 1 or 2 hits w/that group City High. I’m sure thet could’ve gotten someone else to fill that slot. What about Meelah of 702, maybe she wadn’t interested.
