SWV Lands new Reality Show

Via Always A List reports:

Cheryl “Coko” Clemons, Leanne “LeLee” Lyons, and Tamara “Taj” George will star in an unscripted docu-drama produced by eOne Entertainment that will chronicle their recent resurgence in music, the off-stage dynamic between the ladies, explore why the group broke up in the late 90′s, and showcase their personal lives off stage.

SWV, which stands for Sisters With Voices, became one of the most successful R&B groups of the 1990′s with songs like “Weak,” “I’m So Into You,” “Anything,” “Right Here/Human Nature,” and “Rain,” among others.

SWV apparently shot the pilot for their reality series with eOne Entertainment last fall. The name of the show and premiere date have not yet been announced.

WE TV did not respond to’s request for comment on the series.

WE TV has had great success with reality series by other musicians like Mary Mary—whose self-titled series has been given a third season—and Toni Braxton and her sisters, The Braxtons, who star together in “Braxton Family Values.” The latter show has been a record-breaking success for WE TV and spawned the spin-off, “Tamar and Vince,” which featured Tamar Braxton and her husband Vince Herbert.

Move over Braxton sisters!
