A phone call to AAA helped police catch a pair of burglary suspects. Gilford police said two people stole jewelry and other items from a home on Foxborough Drive last month.
Evidence led police to believe the suspects’ car got stuck in a ditch, and a tow truck was called to pull them out. A tow company confirmed it responded to a AAA call that night, leading police to the car. Gordon Potter, who is now in state prison on another case, faces a burglary charge. Kerry Duggan will be arraigned Thursday morning on a burglary charge.
