And You Don’t Stop: 9 Rappers We Want To See Come Back In Full Force

Hip Hop needs a huge shot of lyricism and swagger, but sadly the artists that can take Hip Hip to the next level are mysteriously absent from the game.

Here are 9 rappers we wish would give us new music.

LLoyd Banks

Lloyd is a good lyricist, which is what’s lacking in Hip Hop today.

Mystikal was the only member of No Limit that could actually rap. That comeback he tried to have with Cash Money was an insult to his talent.

MC Lyte

Out of all the old school female rappers, Lyte had that dope flow and bars. We want to see her comeback with a mainstream release and good production.

Lauryn Hill

Once Lauryn gets done doing her time, we want “Ex-Factor” Lauryn back. She is too talented to never record an album again. Get it together girl.

Young Buck

Young Buck may be a cry baby, but for a rapper from the south he has bars. He always outshined his G-Unit members in freestyles. We don’t know when he’s coming out, but we’re riding with him.

Alabama is in the house. This white boy goes hard and deserves more success. He killed it at the BET cypher.

    Tony Yayo

We know you’re looking at us like really, come on now. Yayo has lyrics and swagger plus it is something about those south side Jamaica Queens ninjas that rub us in all the right ways.

    Yung Berg

Go ahead and laugh, but Berg is a good songwriter. “Sexy Lady” was our ish.

Shyne had a flow second to none back in the day with lyrics and story telling skills to match. If he hadn’t got that 10-year bid, he would still be making good music.

Shyne needs a good vocal coach and hopefully he can get back to making dope music.
