Tasha Marbury Speaks On Affair Being Included In Evelyn Lozada’s Book

Basketball Wives new-comer Tasha Marbury seemed to have avoided the awkwardness that’s usually associated with being the “new girl” to the hot-headed group on this season of the show due to her lengthy “friendship” with BBW head honcho Evelyn Lozada, but things might not be as friendly as they seem.

In a recent interview with VH1, Tasha revealed that she wasn’t too fond of Evelyn airing out her former NBA baller hubby Stephon’s dirty-dog affair in her book “Inner Circle,” which was released last year shortly before the group started filming for season 5.

“I was a little taken aback by it. I thought as friends you would tell your friend if you’re writing a book or something you were going to put a portion of their life in a book, I think it was kinda wrong for her to do that.”

Tasha also dished on Evelyn’s response to why she choose to put her marital messiness on blast in the book and says that despite it all, she’s moved on from the situation.

“At the time she said that she didn’t think that it would come out or whatever the case may be. I don’t have a strong position on it either way. I found out the first day I filmed. I had no idea because I never read her book. It was kinda thrown at me. It has nothing to do with us being as close or cool as we were in the past. I’ve moved upward and onward from it. I don’t dwell on it.

I can’t go back and erase it, but I’m not going to let that overshadow my life and stop me from being the person I am.

As much as it sounds like Tasha has built a bridge and gotten over this situation, we definitely wouldn’t be surprised to hear it come up again.
