It’s no secret that Mona Scott found a hit with her “Love and Hip-Hop Atlanta” spinoff and now word is the franchise will have even more spinoffs in different cities. Earlier today it was reported that the show would be coming to Houston.

Here are the details via Diva Whispers

Ok so we have the skinny on some of the Members of New “Love and Hip Hop Houston.” That’s right we have the tea on who some of the cast members will be. You didn’t even know they were coming to Houston right??!! I’ll tell you what…this is going to be good that’s for sure!

The blog goes on to report that the cast consists as of rappers Slim Thug and Willie D, DJ and recording artist DJ Hi C, promoter Lil Keith Nelson and models Kristal Solis and Jhonni Blaze.

But not so fast…

Hit the flip for Slim Thug’s response to the report and a few details about the other reported cast members.

Here’s part of the bio of Slim Thug that ran with the report about the new show: 1st we have Houstons very own Stayve Jerome Thomas (born September 8, 1980), better known as Slim Thug, Boss Hogg or Sheffield Wednesday. Slim Thug grew up in Houston’s Northside neighborhood of Homestead/Scenic Woods so it was only natural to have him representing Houstons Hip Hop. Slim Thug also dated singer LeToya Luckett and they broke because of his cheating and having a child with another woman. Bloggers may remember him when he said that white women treat black successful rappers like kings and that black women should bow down. So you know whats going to happen in this show, fo sho.

SMH… Slim ain’t never gonna live those comments down. But anyway, here’s what he had to say about his so-called “cast member” status:

While this isn’t an outright denial, it sure doesn’t sound like Slim is doing the show.

Hit the flip for more on the others.

Willie D

Geto Boys member Willie D. He is often called on to speak at universities, high schools and youth facilities. Willie took up boxing at the age of 11 and in 1985 he became the Golden Gloves Champion for the State of Texas. In 2009 Willie D was featured on a song called “Down South Hustlaz”, along with Young Buck, Trae, Bun B, and Rick Ross. He is currently in the studio with Z-Ro recording a new CD presently untitled.

We are actually fans of Willie D and wouldn’t mind seeing more of him on TV — but we’re definitely torn about seeing an iconic rapper being exploited for hood ratchetry. Would you be cool with that?

We’re fans of his Dear Willie D advice column so maybe if he is on this show he can bring some sense to the madness.

Jhonni Blaze

Her illustrious credits include exotic dancing, being published in Stunnaz Mag and appearing in videos for Fat Joe, Juelz Santana and Diddy. She has also been alleged to have miscarried on stage while in the throes of twerking. So accomplished. Apparently like Joseline she’s trying to get off the pole and into the booth and has some skills playing classical piano.

SMH. Jhonni retweeted Slim’s denial. Not sure if that means she’s not doing the show either or not.

Kristal Solis

“Prestigious men’s magazine model” for such zines as Custom Bikes, Hustle Bunny, Chulo Magazine, Dimepiece Magazine, Black Men Magazine. Solis’ first appearance to a wider public was in August of 2010 when she graced the cover of Lowrider Magazine’s “Cover Girls” Edition. Since then she has done numerous fashion shows and entertainment events for recognizable brands like Group Modelo, Coors Brewing Company, and International brand, Cuauhtémoc-Moctezuma. Solis latest work includes features in nationally recognized publications: Jet Magazine (September 2010 “Beauty of the week”), Hip Hop Weekly (October 2010), Show Magazine and Urban Ink Magazine.

Wow we’re like blown away by this impressive resume.

Lil Keith Nelson

Kristal’s boyfriend, party promoter LiL Keith Nelson is also rumored to be part of the cast. He has thrown major parties for the City of Houston with Rick Ross, Bun B At House Of Blues, parties with Vixens like Maliah Michel, Kristal Solis, Halie, KikiKayo, Milan Kimble, and Camille Washington, Keyshia Ka’oir and Karlie Redd and hundreds more.

Again. So impressive. Sheesh.

Crawford Wilkerson aka DJ Hi C is a rap artist from Houston. He has collaborated with DJ Quik and AMG. He’s one of the most sought-after celebrity DJ’s in H-Town spinning for Lebron, Kevin Hart, James Harden, Kid Capri, P Diddy, Nelly, Common, Chris Paul and Trey Songz. He is originally from Compton California. Worked for labels like, Hollywood Records from 1991 to 1992 Skanless Records, Tommy Boy and Rap-a-lot Records.

Well… You think you’ll watch if this is for real?
