12-Year-Old Fashion Designer Debuts Latest Designs For Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Breast Cancer Awareness month is coming to a close and what better way to raise money for the cause than with a “girls night out?”

The on-line shopping gurus over at Shop Addicts hosted their annual “Tickled Pink” event benefiting the Sisters Network Inc, in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month and BOSSIP was in attendance to show support and check out the latest products from a host of vendors including Iman Costmetics and KISS beauty products.

Halfway thought the event, attendees were introduced to 12-year-old fashion designer Tyann Williams, who showcased her “Pinky Sez” Collection as little fashionistas worked the mini runway in a fashion show dedicated to survivors of breast cancer. The pre-teen entrepreneur is a Newark, New Jersey native who began her career as a hobby at the tender age of two when she would mimic her older sister. It was with the help of her family  that she was able to transform those ideas into her own “Pinky Sez” fashion line; a girls’ clothing line “promoting fun and positive clothes for the fashionable forward kid.”

The ladies also posed for pics with up and coming international R&B crooner Unique Zayas, who was on hand to support the event. How adorable are these little ladies?

We also got a chance to speak briefly with the manager of Jackie Love Modeling & Etiquette School who is the marketing manager Tyann’s “Pinky Sez” collection, and she informed us that 12-year-old Tyann’s designs would be featured in next year’s 2013 NYC Spring Fashion Week. We can’t wait to see what else is in store for this budding fashionista!
