Today is the day we celebrate veterans across the country and their commitment to the old Red, White and Blue. These celebrities served before or even during fame and you may not have even known about it. Take a look.
Montell Williams – He served in Guam for five years.
Sunny Anderson – She was in the Air Force and hosted a radio show in South Korea as her start to her gig at Hot 97. She’s since made the move to TV working on the Food Network.
Bill Cosby – He was in the navy during the Korean War.
Canibus – The struggle rapper served in Afghanistan.
Shaggy – He served in the Gulf War before blowing up.
MC Hammer – He was in the US Navy for three years.
Ice T – He served from 1979 to 1983.
Harry Belafonte – He served in WWII. What did you do, Jay?
Nate Dogg – He was a munitions specialist before making his music. RIP.
