Woman Let Son Live In Filth

According to Sun Sentinel:
Firefighters thought they were going to a West Boca home to help an elderly woman with chest pain on Friday. Instead, they walked into a home that stank of urine and feces, according to a Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office arrest report.
The waste in the home was so rampant that authorities said it was impossible to walk through the front door without stepping in feces, according to the report.
The dirty discovery led to a child neglect charge for another woman, Robyn Elizabeth Zeff, 38, of West Boca, after authorities learned a 10-year-old boy lived in the home. Authorities did not mention the condition of the elderly woman.
It started when Palm Beach County Fire Rescue responded to the home on Friday at about 3 p.m. Once they peeked inside the home, they immediately called for deputies.
Authorities walked in the home and found large spots that smelled of urine along with piles of feces throughout the kitchen, living area, couch, bedroom and child’s bedroom, according to the report.
A phone call and voice mail to Zeff on Tuesday were not returned.
Authorities said conditions in the home were not, “adequate to maintain the health and welfare of a child” and arrested Zeff.
Zeff was booked into Palm Beach County Jail on Friday and released on Saturday after posting $3,000 bail.
If people are not going to take care of their kids, they should not have them.
