Commitmentphobe or closet case? We can’t quite put our finger on it but something about George Clooney as a straight man isn’t quite as convincing as most of his other roles.

According to NY Daily News reports:

George Clooney just hasn’t found “the one.”

The 52-year-old handsome heartthrob covered the art issue of W magazine and answered one of Hollywood’s most burning questions: Why is he still single?

“I haven’t met her yet,” Clooney told the fashion mag when asked about the love of his life.

The A-lister’s famous ex-gal pals include Kelly Preston, model Elisabetta Canalis and his latest squeeze, Stacy Keibler.

Clooney, who is promoting his upcoming film, “The Monuments Men,” posed, donning a polka-dot suit, for a pictorial called “Spot the Star” in the special edition of W.

He answered personal questions from five female artists on everything from his first cinematic crush to how much he misses home while on location as an actor.

“When I was a kid, I was in love with Audrey Hepburn. I watched ‘Roman Holiday’ when I was 11 and I thought she was as elegant as anything I’d ever seen,” he said.

“And I fell madly in love with her. I also always loved Grace Kelly. I mean, when she comes out of the water in ‘To Catch a Thief,’ I thought, ‘That’s the most beautiful woman I’ve ever seen.’ “

Poor Clooney. We’re pretty sure he hasn’t found his true love because he keeps looking for “her” when it’s obvious he should be looking for “him” instead. Just sayin!
