Kelly Rowland Confirms Engagement To Tim Witherspoon

Last month, we exclusively reported on Destiny’s Child banger Kelly Rowland getting engaged to her long-time manager boo-thang Tim Witherspoon. Kelly had been dodging the engagement rumors for a few weeks but continuing to wear her ring out in public and now she’s finally confirmed the news herself.

She made the official announcement while visiting ” The Queen Latifah Show“. Check out what she had to say about being engaged and how he proposed below:

Queen Latifah: Let’s set the record straight for the people right here on “The Queen Latifah Show.”  Did he put a ring on it or did he put a ring on it?

Kelly: He put a ring on it (smiles). Yes, it’s official. It’s been a while….we’ve kept it very very low for years, to be completely honest.

Queen Laifah: So how did he propose…how did it all go down?

Kelly: Um, it actually happened on Skype…he asked me first on Skype. And I was like, ‘we’re so far away from each other.’ I was in like Bulgaria somewhere. But it was so late.

I remember we were both kinda like, just honestly, just staring at each other. ANd he asked me and it was just that simple to say yes. I was like, I got my BEST friend, my best friend to ride through life with.
