Authorities say a grandmother in Memphis was arrested after she called 911 for beer. Police say 68-year-old Rosie Pate slapped her granddaughter when her granddaughter wouldn’t buy her beer. The affidavit said Pate then picked up the phone and dialed 911 seeking police assistance in getting a beer. She was charged with domestic assault and calling 911 for a non-emergency.
