Keyshia Cole Strikes Gold

Keyshia Cole’s album, A Different Me, just went gold last week:

Keyshia Cole has more than her hit BET series ‘The Way It Is’ to smile about. According to RIAA reports, Cole’s new album “A Different Me”…… was certified Gold last week. “A Different Me,” the former “Love” singer’s latest studio album, becomes her third effort to be certified Gold. Led by the single “Playa Cardz Right,” Cole’s  “A Different Me” debuted at no.2 on the Billboard 200 in December of 2008. Moving 322,000 copies in its first week, Cole’s effort has since, continued to perform well on the R&B/Hip Albums chart.  Speaking shortly before the release of “A Different Me,” Cole said “It’s time to lighten up and have a good time for this album. “A Different Me” features guest appearances from the late Tupac Shakur, Monica and Nas.

In this era Keyshia made it rain on them hoes, I.E. sales. If you compare those numbers to the past, they aint’ sh*t, but congrats, girl.
