Florida Woman Stabs Fiancé For Refusing To Driver Her To Liquor Store
Via WESH Orlando reports:
A Fort Pierce woman stabbed her fiance because he wouldn’t drive her to the liquor store, police said.
Melissa Bopp was arrested on a charge of aggravated battery.
According to a Fort Pierce police report, Cedric Henry called 911 to report that his wife stabbed him in the stomach.
Henry told police Bopp asked him to take her to the store to buy some liquor, but he refused, saying he wasn’t going to drive intoxicated.
Upset, Bopp then stabbed him with what Henry called “a big knife,” police said.
Henry was taken to Lawnwood Regional Medical Center. His condition wasn’t known. Police said Bopp’s child witnessed her stab Henry.
Henry’s grandmother told police that Bopp and her grandson live together and they were engaged to be married next week.
Is the wedding still on?
