Cynthia Angry With Nene Over Fight With Peter At Charity Event

We remember when Nene use to love herself some Peter…did she think Peter was trying to steal the spotlight from her too?

According to Rolling Out:

To everybody’s surprise, things got tense between NeNe Leakes and Peter Thomas on Sunday night’s episode of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” when Leakes very publicly snubbed Kenya Moore at a charity event. Thomas’ wife, Cynthia Bailey, held her tongue during his war of the words with Leakes, but now she’s weighed in on the fight and is calling Leakes out for being a bad friend.

As viewers know, Sunday night’s episode turned sour when Moore threw a charity event in Leakes’ honor, but failed to give her a personal invite or share details about the event. Bailey had to beg Leakes to show up to the event, but when she did arrive, Leakes gave Moore the cold shoulder and then made the whole crowd feel the tension when she gave a dry, insulting and short speech before walking away from the event.

Things got worse when Thomas confronted Leakes about her bad behavior, to which Leakes replied that Thomas was displaying “b—- a–ness” for getting involved in her beef with Moore.

Shortly after the episode aired, Bailey shared her side of the story on Twitter, saying that she regretted ever trying to sway Leakes to come to the event.

“I regret I called her 50,000 times to come to @KenyaMoore event. I thought it was the right thing to do,” Bailey said, adding, “I agree with @PeterThomasRHOA that this event was about charity not Kenya.”

However, Bailey challenged Moore’s claim that Bailey and Thomas left because Leakes left the event.

“I left because my husband left not because @NeNeLeakes left.#notaflunkie,” she wrote.

Bailey then turned her attention back to Leakes’ comments about Thomas and questioned their friendship.

“B—- A**ness? That’s not what friends do. Respect works both ways. I would never call Gregg out of his name. #ever,” Bailey wrote.

Do you think Nene was being a bad friend?
