Afeni Shakur is not about to let them Hollyweird fools d*ck her around:

Afeni Shakur is not going out without a fight. The mother of the late rap legend Tupac Shakur has filed a $10 million cross-complaint in response to a lawsuit filed by the Morgan Creek production company over the rights to her son’s life.

Morgan Creek filed suit in February, claiming that they had a completed deal with Shakur’s company Amaru Entertainment to release a Pac biopic, and Amaru backed out. Shakur denied the existence of any contracts on the alleged arrangement and according to The Hollywood Reporter will file a suit of her own today (March 16). Amaru claims that the production company tried to force them into a deal, and when they shopped around for other arrangements with their competitors, Morgan Creek attempted to ruin the film altogether.

“Instead of negotiating in good faith with (Amaru), they sought to obtain the rights by concocting a non-existent ‘agreement’ and engaging in heavy-handed threats, coercion and intimidation to interfere with and ultimately destroy the film project,” Amaru alleges.

Amaru also claims that Morgan Creek told other interested studios that they owned the rights to the movie. “This was a sleazy and illegal ploy to coerce (Amaru) into a deal,” the cross complaint reads. As of press time it there is no set date for either party to appear in court.

Hats off to Afeni for standing up to those scuzzbags tryng to profit off her son’s memory. Shady fu*ktards.

You Better Be Careful HOW YOU TREAT PEOPLE!!!

    [Revamp from Dec.1]

I was talking with a friend yesterday and he and I discussed the value of friendship. Real friends are so, so hard to find these days. The Bible is really fulfililng itself when it said that love of many in the later times would wax cold. We are seeing that now. People can tell you one thing with their mouths but to demonstrate what you speak in action is the challenge that many people face.

All a man is his word. If you don’t have word, you are absoulely a nobody! Nobody consumes their time continually with liars or people who are fickle with their word. Why is this? They don’t acknowledge or respect the value that God has given you. Many of us are like this. We treat the people in our lives who love us the most with so much disrespect. We distance ourselves from them, shun their phone calls, their friendship, their love, witholding ourselves from them not realizing that God may have put that person in your life for a reason and for a season to take you to the next area in your life.

God uses people to take you higher. Do you not know that if you walk with God, it is essential to form bonds and relationships with people. Now don’t get it twisted. I’m not saying to form bonds and close friendships with everyone; surely, that is NOT the will of God. However, there are people who have the closer walk with God, the love, the support, the motivation, the push, the inspiration that you may need to be deposited in your life during your life’s most difficult moments. But how can you receive that love, that support, that motivation if you keep rejecting it? God demonstrates His love a lot of times through others.

BE VERY careful how you treat people. Be careful not take those for granted God has placed in your life for a special time. Be careful not to ignore the ones who are reaching out to love you the most. For the time when you just may need it the most, the season for it may have soon passed away.

1 Cor 13:4-7: “4Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres”

I love Tupac and me and my husband still have his cds playing in our cars. We get so pissed off because so many people keep trying to use him and there has been very little to commerate him. He was so mentally wise, his words are poetry, I would loved to have held a conversation with him or just had some idea of how his thought process came about. I would love to see a biography that focuses more on his life and not so much on his death. So Talented, i cried when he died. I was only 12 when he died, but my brothers used to listen to him so much it was so overwhelming in sad. I remember not worrying about him because i was like thats Tuoac hes invincible. That shocked alot of people. Ok i am about to cry now

If hismom would let him ret this would not be happening.

I hate seeing dead people being used as money pockets. Dag b/c his mom ghave white man the use now he is still being taken advantage by the white man. Let the dead rest in peace. I don’t respect bigie mom nor PAc mom. they did not make it so even after death they ride their son wave. It is not right….

Everyone is money hungry., That is allit comes down to. If she wasn’t money hungry as well.

@QueenBee When it’s on it’s a hit, ski mask extra gats bring the clips, don’t nobody move when we walk the streets, they stay silent cause talk is cheep. I don’t know if I can consider these lyrics poetry, but some of his songs did have deep meaning. And he did stand for something besides money.

    @ ROE SKI LOVE

Poetry is a matter of perception. The lyrics you chose anyway don’t even reflect what he was fully capable of, why not read the book that contains his poetry which is called The Rose that Grew in The Concrete. The poetry within that book is studied in colleges and universities till this day.

  • Ninalicious

Actually, the name of the poem/book is “The Rose That Grew From Concrete.”

At least get the title right…
