Afeni Shakur is not about to let them Hollyweird fools d*ck her around:

Afeni Shakur is not going out without a fight. The mother of the late rap legend Tupac Shakur has filed a $10 million cross-complaint in response to a lawsuit filed by the Morgan Creek production company over the rights to her son’s life.

Morgan Creek filed suit in February, claiming that they had a completed deal with Shakur’s company Amaru Entertainment to release a Pac biopic, and Amaru backed out. Shakur denied the existence of any contracts on the alleged arrangement and according to The Hollywood Reporter will file a suit of her own today (March 16). Amaru claims that the production company tried to force them into a deal, and when they shopped around for other arrangements with their competitors, Morgan Creek attempted to ruin the film altogether.

“Instead of negotiating in good faith with (Amaru), they sought to obtain the rights by concocting a non-existent ‘agreement’ and engaging in heavy-handed threats, coercion and intimidation to interfere with and ultimately destroy the film project,” Amaru alleges.

Amaru also claims that Morgan Creek told other interested studios that they owned the rights to the movie. “This was a sleazy and illegal ploy to coerce (Amaru) into a deal,” the cross complaint reads. As of press time it there is no set date for either party to appear in court.

Hats off to Afeni for standing up to those scuzzbags tryng to profit off her son’s memory. Shady fu*ktards.
