Jay Z’s Brands He’s Partnered With
Jay Z has been all about his money from the moment his debut album came out when he was 26. He’s used his influence to partner with some huge brands and make even more money for everyone involved. Here are 10 of his most famous partnerships and how he managed to make it work. Take a look.
Budweiser – His return album, The Black Album, was essentially a Budweiser commercial. Then they linked up for his Made In America concert.
Ace Of Spade – He also pumped Ace of Spade during that Black Album, too to replace his love of Cristal because they were racist.
Duracell – He was pushing the Duracell Powermat and they even used “NY State Of Mind” for the commercial.
Samsung – Of course there was Samsung which funded his latest album. Even at SXSW, Samsung users got tickets to Hov and Kanye’s show.
Brooklyn Nets – He was a minority owner for the team and repping them until he moved them to Brooklyn and ditched them.
NBA 2K13 – He was the executive producer of the video game, which means we got to see him court side during the games.
D’USSE Cognac – Jigga sure pushes a lot of liquor, doesn’t he? But apparently it’s the s*** if he does say so himself.
