The Don Gets Probation

According to Livesteez, Don “Still-Swirlin” Cornelius just received a slap on the wrist for whipping his white piece upside the head:

Soul Train creator, executive producer and long time host Don Cornelius was recently sentenced to three years probation. The 72-year old plead no contest to misdemeanor spousal battery charges stemming from a domestic violence incident last November at his Hollywood, California home with his wife Viktoria. Cornelius had been charged with counts three of spousal battery, one count of assault with a deadly weapon and one count of dissuading a witness from filing a police report.

Court documents also reveal that Viktoria was granted a three-year restraining order one week before the assault took place and that wasn’t the first time an assault happened between the couple. Don also has to turn over all of his firearms and must attend a yearlong domestic violence course. He was also mandated no to use threats or force against anyone, including his wife.
