Sad and senseless.

Boy Shot Twice In The Head In Brooklyn Crossfire

It’s a shame this innocent boy could possibly die over senseless violence.

According to NY Daily News:

A 13-year-old was shot twice in the head in East Flatbush, Brooklyn, Monday when he was caught in the crossfire, cops and witnesses said.

The teen was outside 1066 Flatbush Ave. with his mother around noon when he was shot once behind the ear and once in the eye, witnesses said.

Pizzeria manager Rufino Salazar, 25, said the mother and blood-spattered son came running into Avenue Pizza II after the gunshots rang out.

“He was shot in the right eye,” Salazar said. “She was screaming, ‘My boy is dying! My boy is dying!'”

The teen, Gama Droiville, was taken to Kings County Hospital Center in serious but stable condition.

Assitou Diallo, 49, was with her 10-year-old son outside the pizza shop when the bullets began flying.

Diallo said she pushed her son inside the shop, and began trying to care for the wounded teen. “I was standing right there,” she said, pointing at the spot where the teen was struck. “It just missed me.”
