Yeezy continues to make big moves:

Kanye West is to top the bill at the Wireless Festival in July, it has been announced. The Stronger star will conclude the two-day event on Sunday July 5th, organizers have confirmed, a year after his mentor Jay-Z performed at the Hyde Park festival. A Wireless statement said the Brit winner’s appearance would “make this show undoubtedly one of the finest performances seen in Hyde Park”.

“After 2008’s spectacular performance by Jay Z, Kanye West is set to establish Hip-Hop’s place in Hyde Park.” Basement Jaxx are to headline the Saturday night while Paul Oakenfold, Dizzee Rascal and the Streets are also set to perform.

The headliners for the Latitude festival were also announced today, with the Pet Shop Boys, Nick Cave and Grace Jones set to take the stage this July in Southwold’s Henham Park. Also on the bill are Editors, Gossip, Bat For Lashes and Turin Brakes.

“Grace Jones and Nick Cave epitomize where Latitude is at, challenging, iconic and visually stunning,” said booker Jon Dunn. “Over the next three months we’ll be announcing over 100 more artists for this year’s event, an event that has grown every year, and one that I feel will be our strongest musically yet.”

With Jay-Z leading the way, we have no doubt that buddy boy will blow those Brits’ socks off with his performance. Get it Yeezy.
