The turn up was so real last night. BOSSIP was in the building last night for Flight School & BMI’s Super Producers Beat Summit featuring Mannie Fresh, DJ Toomp and KLC. If you are a fan of No Limit, Cash Money, Jeezy or T.I. you pretty much have these three guys to thank for many of their classic hits. T.I. surprised fans by joining the super producers onstage and performing many of his own songs as they were played during the battle.

Here’s a little more info:

Broadcast Music, Inc. and production team Flight School presented “The Super Producers Beat Summit” on April 16 at Terminal West in Atlanta. The event featured legendary producers Mannie Fresh, DJ Toomp and KLC who participated in a beat battle that showcased some of their biggest hits. Attendees were also treated to a special guest, rapper T.I., who performed a few songs including the DJ Toomp produced, Grammy-winning hit “What You Know.” In addition, BMI presented the 9th annual Legends of ATL award to DJ Toomp. The honor is bestowed to a community leader recognizing his or her contributions to the Atlanta music scene.

It’s hard to put into words just how incredible the energy levels were in the building but we PROMISE you we had more fun ast this event than 90% of the other shows we’ve been to EVER… It was a true testament to the impact classic hip-hop was left on us all. In addition to T.I., Killer Mike, Big K.R.I.T., Pastor Troy and DJ Jelly were a few other great artists in the building. Producers including Cory Mo, Henny from Tha Bizness, Ike Dirty and many others came out to show their support as well.
