This is why people should stick to real-life relationships.
Man Kills Girlfriend Who Catfished Him
Even though she tricked him, he didn’t have to kill her.
According to NY Daily News:
An Indian man shot his catfishing Facebook girlfriend dead after realizing she was in fact a married 45-year-old housewife, police said.
Vineet Singh, 22, reportedly spent nearly three years romancing Jyoti Kori online — who had claimed she was 21 and had used fake pictures on her profile.
The duo finally agreed to meet by a scenic waterfall near her hometown of Jabalpur on Friday.
But cops say that jobless Singh, from Muzaffarnagar in Uttar Pradesh, was stunned when he discovered she was actually married with three children.
He shot her dead, before turning the gun on himself.
Seriously wounded, he later died after being rushed to hospital.
Jabalpur police chief Hari Mishra told the Times of India that an investigation into the case was ongoing.
Who has an online relationship with someone for three years though?
