James Young is an American basketball player who signed with Kentucky (Drake’s favorite NCAA team) on October 11, 2012. Young was one of the top rated basketball players in the class of 2013. Now, he’s with the Roc. James is currently projected to be pick #15 in the first round of the 2014 NBA Draft. He is the second male basketball player signed under Roc Nation Sports, first was Kevin Durant. He grew up in southeast Michigan and graduated from Rochester High School, averaged 14.3 points and 4.3 rebounds per game as a freshman at Kentucky. Rihanna who is apart of “The Roc” family gave him a shout out and a welcome message on social media! Drake was also spotted rocking his custom-created James Young logo jersey at the NCAA championship weeks ago. That’s a good look right?… The other night James was seen sitting beside the Barbarian beauty at a Nets vs. Raptors game. Roc Nation Sports is also the home of Sylar Diggins, Victor Cruz, Robinson Cano, C.C. Sabathia, Geno Smith, and Hakeem Nicks. They sure is filling up that roster.
‘She Needs A Little Shine:’ Erica Dixon Doesn’t Believe Scrappy Abused Diamond
On The Breakfast Club last month, Crime Mob rapper, Diamond made accusations about being physically abused by ex boyfriend and rapper, Lil Scrappy. Diamond said, “He was mentally abusive, physically abusive. We fought, like you ain’t beatin’ my a**. Yeah, he got some issues. Some demons, he needs some help.” Of course following that, Scrappy and Momma Dee denied that there was anything of that nature happening. Erica Dixon, who is Scrappy’s former girlfriend, daughter’s mother, and former fiancee also had something to say. “I feel like she’s saying that because she needs a little shine,” the mom and reality star told Hello Beautiful. “If that’s the case, why are you just now speaking about this? This was something you would never speak about at the time so why are speaking out now? Oh you’re on a new reality show. I’m not dumb by a long shot. I get it.” Erica thinks Diamond is just doing for attention to get viewers to watch the upcoming reality tv show that she’s apart of called “Sisterhood Of Hip Hop” which will air soon.
“Katt Williams Talks Lessons Learned & His Comedic Comeback
Recently Katt Williams sat down with Arsenio Hall to talk about his comeback and what really happened to him in the Target video. Katt says, “As a professional and as somebody who’s now where I stand. I can no longer do that. Those are just the brakes. They had to bleep it before they showed it, because if you hear what I’m saying, what he’s saying to me, you’d say, ‘Why hasn’t he punched him yet?’ I’m saying but I wasn’t smart enough at the time to realize, this dude is trying to make me punch him. I’m not familiar with that. Where does that come from? Where you want me to punch you for your benefit. And understand, I’m not connected to that. Hey, you can still walk up on me…whatever your intent may be–good or bad.” He talked about always fighting back with his fist when anyone would approach him the wrong way. He never wanted his height to make anyone think that he couldn’t throw down. It was clear that Katt didn’t go into too much detail about what he was really going through at that time but he does seem humble and like he’s learned a few things along the way. He said,”There was a lesson that I needed to learn. God helps me. If you’re slow, he understands you’re slow. I’m in a weird position as a person in Hollywood anyway because of the amount of truth that I will tell and I take joy in it. There’s no way you can tell that much truth and not offend some portion of the population.”
