A rumor ran rampant on Tuesday that Solange Knowles actually went jewelry shopping with Jay Z that day in New York City.
Naturally, such speculation got folks buzzing seeing how the excursion supposedly happened after a surveillance video was released showing Beyoncé’s younger sister allegedly attacking her brother-in-law during an elevator fight on the night of last week’s 2014 Met Gala.
Well, on her show Wednesday, Wendy Williams said she personally spoke to Mr. Flawless, the owner of the jewelry shop in question, who told her that the TMZ report of Solange and Jay Z coming into his store was simply not true. However, Floyd Mayweather did stop in that day.
Welp, so much for Hov and sissy poo Solo squashing their beef. In addition, a spokesperson for Solange also spoke out about something else being circulated in the wake of the “fight” video hitting the net. Check that out on the flip

The collective detectives of the world wide web thought they’d found the smoking gun in the case of Solange Knowles and the Jay Z smackdown after the former appeared to tweet an explanation.
On an account apparently linked to the 27-year-old singer, a message was posted that read: ‘He tried the right one. I keep telling yall that n***a about that life.
‘U hit my sis. I hit you hoe. Talk what you know! Yall don’t know sh**.’
All a bit too conclusive and inflammatory, the skeptics noted… and they were right.
Solange’s spokesperson told TMZ: ‘I can confirm that Solange did not tweet that; that is not a real tweet.’
So basically, aside from big sister Bey Bey posting a host of sisterly love-themed photos to her Instagram page today, no “response” stories circulating the internet in regards to this video have come from Bey, Solo, or Jay Z.
Get it? Got it? Good.
