Hilary Clinton Says She’s Moved On From Monica Lewinsky Scandal

It’s been 20 years since the real-life scandal that rocked the White House and earned former President Bill Clinton the most politically incorrect spot in history to date and now his wife-turned predicted 2016 presidential candidate Hilary Clinton says it’s past time for everyone else to move on from it all.

Former first lady Hillary Clinton says she’s moved on from her husband’s affair with intern Monica Lewinsky and the scandal that enveloped his second term in office.

“I think everybody needs to move to the future,” Clinton told People magazine in an interview timed for the upcoming release of her memoir “Hard Choices.”

Further, Clinton told People that she did not read Lewinsky’s essay in Vanity Fair and said she would not comment on “what did or didn’t happen” when asked about published reports that she called Lewinsky a “narcissistic loony toon” after her affair with President Bill Clinton became public.

In her Vanity Fair article, Lewinsky posed in a white dress and said the former president took advantage of her young age and found his wife’s “impulse to blame the woman — not only me, but herself — troubling.”

Hillary Clinton has not publicly addressed questions about Lewinsky in recent months after the scandal was revived by conservatives such as Kentucky Republican Sen. Rand Paul, a potential candidate for the 2016 presidential race.

The People cover story, released Wednesday, focused less on heavy issues and more on her daily life since she left the secretary of state’s office.

She’ll also appear Monday with ABC News’ Diane Sawyer for an interview, and plans appearances on CNN, Fox News, and other broadcast networks to tout her memoir, reports The New York Times.

Meanwhile, Clinton said she’s not yet dwelling on whether she’ll run for president in 2016.

“I know I have a decision to make,” she told People. “But part of what I’ve been thinking about is everything I’m interested in and everything I enjoy doing – and with the extra added joy of ‘I’m about to become a grandmother,’ I want to live in the moment. At the same time, I am concerned about what I see happening in the country and in the world.

“Through the next months, I will think more about what role I can or, in my mind, should play,” she said.

She also discussed the “very calming” task of cleaning out closets; doing yoga and aquatics, and binge-watching the popular Netflix political thriller “House of Cards.”

Hilary might as well kill the “I have a lot to think about” steez with regard to her running for president. We all know she’s running….but the question is, will she win?
