Found in his own basement!?
In the middle of a Nancy Grace interview, Charles Bothuell learned that his 12-year-old son, who had been missing since leaving his family’s house on Father’s Day, was found alive in the basement.
12-Year-Old Missing Detroit Boy Found In Father’s Basement
Via Gawker reports:
Bothuell is visibly stunned by the news, and takes several seconds to breathe deeply before responding. Grace, with all the comfort of a sandpaper sponge bath, immediately begins grilling him. “We are getting reports that your son is alive, in your basement,” she says, eyebrows raised and fingers punching the air. “How could your son be alive in your basement?”
“I don’t know why you guys would have reported him missing,” she continues disapprovingly. “All our viewers have been on the lookout for him.”
Bothuell, still fighting to keep his composure, says that he, his wife, the FBI, the police, and a team of dogs searched the basement several times, a story Detroit Police Chief James Craig corroborated in a press conference after the interview.
It’s still unclear how his son remained hidden in the basement, or whether he was even there the entire time. Craig said police found him “barricaded in the basement, behind boxes and a large five-gallon drum.”
“There’s no way he could have erected this makeshift area of concealment,” he added.
This sounds too fishy!
