You know, I used to get mad whenever celebrities didn’t speak on topical, but very important issues. But after witnessing quite a few celebrities kind of put their foot in their mouths with some less than thrilling commentary on a number of social issues, I think it is best that we sometimes allow them the option of just shutting the hell up! Most times really.

He will never come right out and ask that. That would require a bit of vulnerability and less ego. But instead, we hear and read stuff like: “Black women are gold diggers and only want ballers,” or “Black women only want thugs and to be on welfare.” I think you get what I’m saying…

The Weeknd Announces “King Of The Fall” Tour

“Often” could be indication of great things to come on the The Weeknd’s impending sophomore album, but before anyone hears that, he’ll embark on the “King Of The Fall” tour. The Canadian singer-songwriter will make four stops, but none occupy small venues. The shows kick off on September 19 at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, and travel to Toronto, Los Angeles, and San Francisco through October 10.
