In a press conference for "Snowfall" Season 4, BOSSIP Sr. Content Director Janeé Bolden asked "Snowfall" writer Walter Mosley how the show writers came up with the gruesome killing scene from the Season 4 premiere. Mosley responded by saying the murder was meant to leave a message and create fear in other characters.
