According to Fox News, the case would be over a tweet suggesting Rittenhouse was a White supremacist. Per Fox, Todd McMurtry, who helped former Covington Catholic High School student Nicholas Sandmann reach a settlement with CNN over a defamation lawsuit, said Biden could be held accountable for a September 30, 2020, social media post weeks before he was elected. "There’s no other way to put it: the President of the United States refused to disavow white supremacists on the debate stage last night," Biden's tweet said.
Prosecutors want Kyle Rittenhouse re-arrested for violating the rules of his bail. According to reports, attorneys claim that Rittenhouse has failed to disclose his place of residence after being released on $2 million bail.
