U.S. Rep. Collin Allred says Russia denying the U.S. embassy access to Brittney Griner during her three weeks in custody is "unusual and extremely concerning." Griner has been detained since her mid-February arrest at an airport near Moscow for alleged drug possession.

Since the deadly Russian invasion began last week, thousands of Africans reported racist Ukrainians refusing to let them flee the country. Citizens from countries like Nigeria and Ghana have been pulled off of trains and left stranded at gunpoint in the freezing cold to make sure only White Ukrainians can escape.

There have been multiple reports overnight of explosions, bombings and Russian military vehicles entering Ukraine from parts of the border (of) Russia. Russian President Vladimir Putin announced his decision "to conduct a special military operation" in the region just before a series of missile strikes were reported.
