We often receive inquiries from writers looking to contribute to BOSSIP, so we devised a new writer submission process to help you connect with us.
What we’re looking for:

We are open to your opinions as long as you can back them up with a well thought out argument and some examples that pique our interest. Keep it short — between 800 – 1500 words, and make sure you proofread before sending!
Media Critiques
We established our “We See You” category for the sole purpose of highlighting bias in the media but we are happy to have help from our eagle-eyed audience. If you see someone in the media saying something that promotes stereotypes, we want to know about it. These don’t have to be long, at least 300 words will do!

Some other possible ideas: Write-ups on Black-owned or women-owned businesses to promote positivity, human interest stories to help raise money or draw attention to people or situations that need help from the community. We all know sometimes it takes a village, right?
