Every celebrity’s got one. Irv Gotti, Salt & Pepa, Hammer and now Chilli. She’s droppin’ a reality show on VH1 looking for the man of her dreams. WTF?

Chilli from R&B supergroup TLC, has decided to take the reins of her lackluster romantic situation and launch an all out search for the love of her life in the yet-to-be-titled Chilli Project. Despite huge success as a recording artist and a mother, Chilli has grown tired of striking out on the romantic front, so she has enlisted the help of Brooklyn relationship expert Tionna Smalls.

Not one to let people take the easy way out, Tionna has promised to give Chilli the challenging emotional workout she needs in order to get over the hurdles that have kept her from having the long-term serious relationship she craves.

The series has been picked up for eight half-hour episodes and is set to premiere in 2010. (The Chilli Project is executive produced by Fremantle Media North America. Larry Barron, Kevin Williams, Bill Diggins and Chilli are executive producers. Executive producers for VH1 are Jim Ackerman, Dave Hamilton and Jeff Olde.)

How many Flavor of Loves, Real Chance of Love, I Love New York etc… do you need to see before you realize that you CAN’T find love on television? Come on Chili, you’re smarter than that. We think this is about paying those bills.

All I can say is good luck for Chili and her project but a lot of guys that come on TV signing up for these shows claim they are looking for love but in reality many are just looking for someone to open them doors so they can start their careers. Thats why finding love on any reality TV show is just a joke these days. Many lie to us that they are really looking for love yet they are actually looking for a way to get on TV get that check pay their bills get that fame and move on to the next project. We know how this ***** works Chilli so dont lie to us about your reality show. You just need a check to front your monthly bills since TLC, your own music career is nomore and money is tight now in our recessing economy.

Give me a break! I know one of the men chosen for this show and I personally know that he is using this as an “opportuniy for exposure.” He is hoping that this jumpstarts his cold career in the entertainment bisuness. So why don’t they call it what it is: entertainment. I am so disgusted, I don’t know what to do.
