BOSSIP Exclusive: Rick Ross Headed To Court For Weed And Window Tint Case

Rapper Charged With Weed Possession & Illegal Window Tint On Bentley
Rick Ross headed to court for an arraignment next month after cops said they caught him driving with a pocket full of kush in a Bentley with illegal tint.
Cops cuffed Ross, real name William Leonard Roberts, last June for possession of marijuana and for having illegally tinted windows on his 2012 Bentley. The rapper and gal pal Amaris Marion Jones were riding around town when Ross’ dark windows caught the cops’ attention.
When they pulled him over, they allegedly found less than an ounce of pot. And just a few days later, Ross was rearrested for allegedly beating and kidnapping his landscaper. That case is also pending in Fayette County, Ga. court.
The case appeared to languish for several months while prosecutors dealt with his assault and kidnapping case. Now, it appears Ross will get his day in court on the weed and window tint case. According to court docs, Ross is set to appear March 30 in Fayette County Court for arraignment.
Unfortunately, the successful artist is building up a history of legal charges. Just last year, Rick Ross was involved in another incident, a kidnapping and assault case.
Rick Ross made his debut the world after releasing his debut smash single “Hustlin” back in 2006. The song’s success led to a bidding war between record labels, and Ross signed with Def Jam Recordings. His debut album, Port of Miami, was released later that year and debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 chart.
