Okay, it is widely known that Chanel Iman started the rumor about Sessilee throwing chairs backstage. If you’ve been backstage at a fashion show, you would know that you can’t throw a comb without hitting someone else and that it’s full of paparazzi so if she was throwing chairs there would be plenty of photos to back it up. I love how one blog writes something then other blogs pic it up and it now becomes fact – no such thing as responsible reporting anymore, huh?

No they don’t get along and the real reason is because Chanel Iman became jealous when Sessilee got the cover of Italian Vogue and she didn’t! There you go! That’s how it started so don’t blame Sessilee, she’s the innocent one here but she’s from Philly and she ain’t going to take Chanel’s BS.

I don’t think it was about the Italian Vogue. Chanel has really been big for what 2 years now, she has plenty of time to get on that cover.

Wow! Sorry to hear about the Chanel-Sessilee scrap. I will admit I don’t know about these two, but if it’s true that Chanel is starting this BS, then I think it’s sad. Any profession where females dominate, there will be drama. But in the fashion industry, where whites dominate like 99.9% of it, you would this drama btwn. the black models will cease. Has Chanel not learned anything from the whole Tyra/Naomi mess?

On a side note, I think Sessilee takes better pics and she looks more haute couture than Chanel, hence her getting the cover of Italian Vogue. Both women are very gorgeous though and can rock the runway.

Actually, I just read in the November ‘09 issue of Teen Vogue that Chanel is only 1/4 Korean. Therefore, I consider her black with a little korean, ya know? Not biracial like half and half. Her mom was put up for adoption in Korea because she was half black. I doubt that she’s extremely proud of her Korean part because of that! It’s sad to see how long we can go on talking about skin tones. Unfortunately we as people will never go too far if our vision of ourselves never change. It’s unfortunate that society has brian washed our communities about what beauty should look like. It’s sad to hear people say “she’s too pretty to be black”. My family originated from the south of the USA and from the West Indies and everyone of us are gorgeous. My friends who are from different parts of Africa and from South America are gorgeous. Also, why do people think only black celebrities can be pretty? They were regular people before being famous, right? It’s also very sad to hear Afro-Hispanic people stray away from their African Identity. Brazil, Dominican Republic, Cuba, Panama and so many other countries had more African people than the United States. The Spaniards took over those countries and raped and or married African women. The French did the same in Haiti and other countries, this does not mean they’re not African, they just have a French culture. If you can’t accept who you are, you have some real issues. Most likely you’ll p***** that same feeling of hatred towards your kids and that is so not cool. I’m proud to be who I am and especially because my ancestors fought so hard to make sure I can walk around equally with my head high. African Americans fought so hard for all races to be created equal. This whole, color crap is crazy, get over yourselves. I have cousins and friends who are of 100% African decent with Irish skin tones with straight hair. You can never tell by looking at someone who they are and where they are from. Be clear and educated before you go *****uming. Lets think about it, Unless your 100% Spanish and I’m talking Spaniards not Hispanic (which is a man made race) you will be treated as a person of color. That it in itself is a whole different fight but if we can’t except who we are as people of color first, we will never be able to fight the bigger war. Oh yeah and one two words, Michelle Obama!
